WELCOME to Distance Learning at Siena Heights University's College
for Professional Studies!
Distance Learning is offered in three formats by the College for Professional Studies.
- The first is "blended online". These
courses (eight or fifteen week sessions) have a requirement for the student to attend a mixture of face-to-face classroom
sessions and participate in online sessions when not meeting in the classroom. Some classes have only one or two classroom sessions ( eight week courses)
and others (fifteen week courses) have as many as six or seven classroom sessions.
- The second format is "totally online". These eight week courses do not have any
face to face meeting requirements.
- The third format is
"web enhanced". Here all sessions are held in the classroom environment with some of the course material being provided by an
Internet based Learning Management System (LMS).
